What this site collects

LocateMenus is a server-rendered directory site. The site itself does not require an account, does not collect personally identifying information from visitors, and does not store any user-submitted content beyond messages voluntarily sent by email via the contact page. We do not run a first-party analytics or tracking script on the site.

Server logs

The web server records standard access logs: request path, response code, response size, timestamp, IP address, and user agent. These logs are used for operational debugging (identifying broken links, monitoring crawl behavior, investigating abuse) and are not used to build behavioral profiles of individual visitors. Access logs are retained for a short rolling window and then discarded.

Cookies

The LocateMenus site itself does not set any first-party cookies. If third-party advertising or analytics is enabled in the future, that service may set its own cookies for the purpose of ad serving, frequency capping, or attribution; in that case this page will be updated to describe the third-party cookies in use.

Third-party advertising

The site does not currently serve third-party advertising, and no ad network code runs on any page. If display advertising is ever introduced, this page will be updated first to describe the networks involved and the cookies they set.

External links

The site links out to OpenStreetMap and to restaurant websites where those URLs are present in the underlying data. Once you click an external link, you are subject to the privacy policy of the destination site.

Contact email

Messages submitted via the contact page are delivered to the editorial inbox and used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add contact-form senders to a marketing list and we do not share inbound messages with third parties.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how the site handles visitor data, we will update this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
